The Etac Star Standard Air Cell Cushion, Short, 49x44x5 cm is a high-quality compact seating solution designed to provide exceptional pressure redistribution and therapeutic support for wheelchair users. With a single-compartment design featuring one air valve, this cushion is easy to adjust, ensuring personalised comfort and dynamic stability.

Constructed from flexible neoprene, the cushion contours to the user's body, immersing around the buttocks to reduce cell deformation and enhance comfort. It is available in two heights—5 cm for enhanced stability and 10 cm for superior pressure redistribution. This makes the cushion an ideal choice for preventing and managing pressure injuries while promoting prolonged sitting tolerance.

  • Seat Width: If placed on a wheelchair, the cushion base edges (E) may fold upwards. Hence, there is a difference between the base measurements and the recommended seat width.
  • Seat Depth: Measured at the middle of the seat, from the front edge to the back upholstery. The measurement should be taken when the back upholstery is adjusted correctly. Place the cushion as far back on the seat as possible.
