This mattress is ideal for those in the very high-risk category for pressure injuries. Concerns over correct pressure level settings are eased with AutoCair, a real-time automatic weight-sensing technology that automatically adjusts the pressure settings to keep the client within a safe pressure range for effective therapy, delivering fail-safe patient comfort and support. The inbuilt service indicator makes for worry-free maintenance. Featuring SafetyCair, the ultimate protection from "bottoming out", alternating air cells contain a lower safety cell that remains fully inflated to provide greater surface stability and patient safety. The Fowler Boost mode automatically adjusts the mattress pressure to provide increased support under the sacral area when the backrest is raised. The ProCair® Trio Mattress Replacement System provides increased protection and therapy for vulnerable heels with an independent heel zone made up of narrower cells, that can be disconnected if required.

An inbuilt Back-Up Battery unit provides the reassurance of up to 3 hours of emergency backup power in event of a power failure or accidental power disconnection. Benefit from maximum infection control with a fully sealed base, designed to minimise the risk of bacterial contamination and maximise patient care and safety in an acute care environment. Equipped with an inbuilt CairAlert feature, an optional warning alarm will signal to indicate that a patient has moved off the mattress. The ProCair® Trio Mattress Replacement System also features safety side bolsters for increased support and a quick-twist CPR valve.

USE OF HIRED EQUIPMENT Rental equipment shall be used only for the purpose for which it is designed and intended. Rented equipment is for personal use only and only to be used as described when entering this hire agreement.
The user confirms that satisfactory instruction in how to use and operate the rental equipment has been provided.
Equipment has been thoroughly examined. It is in working condition and suits the purpose for which it is hired for. If the rental equipment does not suit or is not in working condition, the hiree MUST inform Aged Care & Medical by email or call within 48 hours following the receipt of the rental equipment.
Repairs or modifications are not to be conducted on any rental equipment without prior authorisation in writing from Aged Care & Medical.
Aged Care and Medical reserve the right to cease a hire period without notice should any of the following occur:
  1. Hire payments are not made,
  2. Rental Equipment is mistreated or used in an unsafe manner,
  3. Any of the Aged Care & Medical ‘Terms & Conditions of Hire’ are breached in any way.
DELIVERY AND COLLECTION It is understood and agreed that additional charges will apply for delivery and collection. These charges are listed on the Rental Equipment Quotation.
It is the hiree’s (or representative of the hiree) responsibility to return the items to Aged Care & Medical or to call and request their collection. Hire charges will continue to apply until the items are returned, or a collection request is made. Collection charges also apply.
Aged Care & Medical requires payment of all agreed payments prior to the delivery/collection of the equipment.
The rental period starts the day the equipment is either delivered or collected. Furthermore, a minimum of two hires charges apply to all rental equipment items, unless otherwise specified.
FEES AND BOND The hiree (or representative of the hiree) will provide credit card details for the purposes of paying the Hire Fees, delivery, collection, and the Bond, unless agreed otherwise. It is understood and agreed that the credit card will be charged if: there is damage, loss or otherwise do not return the equipment to accordance with these Terms and Conditions of Hire.
All equipment rentals are issued on a hire basis will require a bond (refundable upon return of equipment) and a hire fee, based on the time the item is required.
The hiree (or representative of the hiree)will return all the equipment including all the parts and accessories in clean and good WORKING CONDITION.
RETURN OF HIRED EQUIPMENT All the equipment including all parts and accessories must be returned in good WORKING CONDITION, CLEAN and no additional changes to the APPEARANCE.
WORKING CONDITION means, working as per the condition at the time of hire, including any electrics, batteries, battery charges, and that the rental equipment continues to be suitable for use.
CLEANLINESS includes clean, free of stains, free of smoke and other odours, except than those noted at the time of hire.
APPEARANCE means, free of any new scratches, body damage, fabric tears etc. other than those noted at the time of hire.
The hiree (or representative of the hiree) understands and agrees that other than what would be considered as normal wear and tear, any damage arising from misuse or maltreatment, intentional or otherwise, caused while the equipment is hired, will be charged. At a minimum, the equipment bond may be forfeited to cover electrical repairs, bodywork, sterilisation or stain removal/re-upholstery and, that at a maximum a charge for the purchase of equipment and any out-of-pocket expenses such as freight and loss of hire will be incurred.
Any security bond will be paid prior to the hire commencement date. It will be returned to the same account when the equipment is returned to Aged Care & Medical (subject to all terms and conditions being satisfied) within three business days of the return of the rental equipment. For the rental bond to be returned, the hiree musts comply with all the terms and conditions outlined, including accurate completion of the Rental Return Form.
Depending on my financial institution, the return of the rental bond may take anywhere from three to ten business days before it is reflected on the bank statement.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY Aged Care & Medical accepts no responsibility for any injury, damage or financial loss caused or sustained throughout the use of item/s hired. Aged Care & Medical shall be compensated for any actions arising from this agreement, including any costs or losses suffered by the hiree (and the hiree’s representative.
