Immedia AutoTurn Swivel Cushion

Designed to simplify entering and exiting the car, the Immedia AutoTurn Swivel Cushion is ideal for individuals with limited mobility or lower-body pain. The flat disc sits on the car seat and is low friction to allow the user to twist and slide to the desired position in the car seat. This significantly reduces any strain on the knees, hip and back, and reduces the need to twist the legs or feet.

The two nylon sides facing each other reduce friction while turning. The underside of the AutoTurn cushion has a non-slip surface to ensure the device rests firmly on the car seat. It also features a functional handle that a carer can use to pull the user into place on the car seat. 

How to position the Immedia AutoTurn Swivel Cushion in the car: Position the AutoTurn 45 centrally on the car seat. Using the integrated attachment strap, simply wrap this around the back of the seat and fasten. The strap can be tightened for safe attachment. The AutoTurn also features two smaller side straps that can be secured to the seat belt for extra security and two small side handles to reposition the cushion. Fit the functional locking system (next to the functional handle) to the safety belt. The belt will automatically glide slightly forward when the user turns in the seat. 

How to use the Immedia AutoTurn Swivel Cushion: Firstly, the user should seat themselves in the centre of the AutoTurn. The user then raises either both legs simultaneously, or one leg at a time inside the vehicle, thus turning the body inside the car. The carer can pull on the functional handle to help the user guide into place. To exit the car, the user swings their legs out of the vehicle, preferably in stages, before raising themselves to a standing position. The AutoTurn is lightweight and easy to use in any vehicle. Measuring 45cm in diameter, the product can be cleaned by wiping with a damp cloth or machine washed at a maximum temperature of 60°C. Do not use fabric softener. The maximum user weight is 150 kilograms.
