The StabilAir cushion offers an ideal mix of multi-celled air support and soft, contoured foam tubes within each air cell.
It features two sizes of foam cylinders for added stability. The foam is taller around the edges and shorter in areas like the leg troughs, buttocks, and coccyx, creating a contoured design.
This design enhances stability, making transfers on and off the cushion easier. Additionally, the foam serves as a secondary layer of skin protection, preventing the cushion from fully bottoming out if air is lost. This provides peace of mind for both users and care providers, ensuring ongoing skin protection.
The air cell cushion is easy to adjust with a single inflation chamber and offers excellent pressure redistribution. It is available in various sizes. This cushion has a cell height of 10cm, other sizes include 7.5cm.

Vertical Air Cell: Interconnected vertical air cell cushions have long been used for pressure redistribution due to high envelopment and immersive properties and reduced surface tension.
Pressure Redistribution: The interconnected air cells ensure excellent pressure redistribution properties, continually readjusted to the user’s shape as they move in their seat.
Adjustability: The air level can be adjusted and reset again and again to achieve the optimal amount of immersion for the individual.
Foam Baffles: Each cell has a built-in soft foam cylinder, which acts as a baffle, slowing air movement throughout the cushion to increase stability. In addition, the foam cylinders are higher on the side to maximise stability.
